Grounding Yourself with Cacao

 

These delicious treats are not only packed with protein, but are super easy to make and satisfy any chocolate craving. They are especially grounding after an energizing yoga practice or deep sound healing session.

Cacao Bliss Bites

1/2 cup pitted dates
1/2 cup water for soaking
2 TB coconut oil
1/2 cup cashew pieces
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup cacao
2 TB water

Soak dates in water for 30 minutes. Drain water and place dates and coconut oil into food processor. Blend until smooth. Add cashews and sesame seeds and blend until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add cacao and 2TB water. Blend thoroughly until mixture comes together. Once well-blended, you can roll into little bite-size balls. It helps if you cover the palms of your hands with coconut oil to prevent sticking. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer.

Resist the urge to eat them all at once!!
